Election Inspectors

Thank you for your interest in becoming an election inspector.  This is a great experience.  Besides the pleasure of meeting your fellow neighbors, you will learn about the exciting world of elections!

As an election inspector, your day will begin at 6:30AM.  You will open the machines and set up the supplies.  Polls open at 7:00AM, when you will have your first - of many - visitors.  You will have a great day and gain valuable experience!   The day will end after the polls close at 8:00PM.  After gathering the materials, you should be home by 10:00PM reminiscing of your day as an election inspector.

A training class will be held for the inspectors before each election.  To become an inspector, you must be a registered voter in Oakland County.  Election inspectors are paid $9.00 per hour.
