Parking in Birmingham is now a lot easier, thanks to new and fully automated, self-serve pay stations recently integrated in downtown parking garages. The new system offers a faster, more convenient way for you to use and exit the garages.

You'll enjoy many benefits from the automated system, such as:

• More payment options (major credit and debit cards are accepted)
• Smaller lines and waiting time
• Additional locations for payment, including the option to use brand new pay-on-foot pay stations. The stations, located in the stairwells and exits of the garages, offer customers the option of paying before returning to their vehicles.
• Improved security (each pay station features intercoms for questions or emergencies)

For businesses who are already validation customers, or those who are interested in learning how to validate customers’ parking expenses, please note that the parking garage improvements will affect the way you provide a pre-paid coupon or validate a parking ticket. Additionally, these changes will affect how your customer will redeem the validation value for their parking.
