Election Inspectors

The City of Birmingham is looking for qualified people to work and manage voting precincts on Election Day.  Duties include checking voter registration, issuing ballots, maintaining precinct records, and lending support to residents throughout the voting process.  Election Inspectors work from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM and are paid an hourly wage.  

To be considered you must:

  • be a registered voter in the state of Michigan;
  • be at least 16 years old (the voter registration requirement is waived for inspectors under 18);
  • attend paid election inspector training session;
  • have strong computer skills.
