User-Friendly Bill Payment with InvoiceCloud
The city of Birmingham is now live with InvoiceCloud. Please visit https://www.invoicecloud.com/CityofBirminghamMI to pay utility, tax, parking tickets, and other bills online. Please note that payments may not be posted to your account for up to three business days. Please call 248-530-1890 if you have questions about a payment. If you would like to lookup your tax, utility bill, special assessment, etc. history, please visit www.bsaonline.com. Select "Click here to choose a municipality and get started." Search for Birmingham. You can lookup records by address, name, parcel number, or account number.

On 5/23/2024 payments will no longer be accepted through Certified Payments.

What you should know about InvoiceCloud

This is a fee-based service. A convenience fee of 3.00% will be applied to all credit/debit card, PayPal products and Venmo payments with a minimum charge of $1.95 and $3.00 will be applied for EFT (Check) payments.  If you make a payment over the phone, there is an additional surcharge of $0.95 to use this service, along with the other service fees listed above.

There is no fee for auto pay using EFT (Check) for water bills and property tax payments. If you would like to make a fee free electronic transfer prior to the due date, the City has an electronic lockbox with Comerica Bank for property taxes and water bills.  You need to set up the City as a vendor on your on-line banking app and schedule a payment to the City.  There are two drop boxes located behind city hall where checks can be dropped off. Cash or checks can be used in city hall to avoid fees.

Current City applications, permits and licenses have been transitioned to online submittals with online payment functions. Download instructions for completing and submitting City forms and applications.

Property Taxes, Utilities & Special Assessments

Online Payments: Use the link above to pay bills such as Property Taxes, Water Bills, Parking Tickets, Invoices and Special Assessments.

Phone Payments: You may make these payments over the phone by calling (866) 608-6092. If you make a payment by calling this number, there is an additional surcharge of $0.95 to use this service, along with the other service fees listed above.

Payments by Mail: You may also submit payments by mail for Invoices and Special Assessments to: City of Birmingham, Treasury Department, 151 Martin St., P.O. Box 3001, Birmingham, MI 48012-3001. You may also submit payments by mail for Water Bills to: City of Birmingham - Water, P.O. Box 671756, Detroit, MI 48267-1756. Payments for property taxes may be mailed to: City of Birmingham – Taxes, P.O. Box 671732, Detroit, MI 48267-1732. 

Drop Box: To pay in person, there is a drop box located behind City Hall. You may also visit the Treasurer's Office from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Parking Tickets

For Parking Tickets, use the link above to pay online or call (866) 608-6092. You may also pay your parking ticket by mail, or you may drop payment off after hours. If your parking ticket is due on a weekend or holiday, we will accept payment on the first business day after the due date. If you are mailing payment, mail to:  City of Birmingham, Treasury Department, 151 Martin St., P.O. Box 3001, Birmingham, MI 48012-3001.   Please do not send cash.
